Jeffery Weber

Intuit, Inc
Distinguished Architect
I have lived, gone to school, and worked in the San Diego area for my entire life. I am married and have four children. In my off time, I like to listen to music, watch movies or off road around the local mountains, along the coast or in the desert. I enjoy seeing the countryside by car and camping with my family. My first introduction to software engineering was in high school where I won a programming contest by creating a slide puzzle application for a Radio Shack TRS 80. I went on to graduate magnum cum laude with a BA in applied mathematics and computer science from UCSD in 1988. My introduction to mobile applications was in 1990 at a small startup company programming GRiD tablets using C++. In 1993, I joined a local company named Chipsoft that later merged with Intuit where I have worked on all aspects of their TurboTax product. I have overseen technology transitions to support DOS, Macintosh, Windows and Online. In my current role, I drove the migration of the Tax Ecosystem applications and services from our own data centers to AWS and have more focus on the operational side of the house. I am working directly with SRE‚ and developers to create optimized and secure hosting platforms in support solving our customers problems. https://www.linkedin.com/in/weberjeffery/
