As an engineering manager and tech lead at Kong, Guanlan leads end-to-end product development for Kong’s core open source product, Kong Cloud, Kong Brain and Kong Immunity. Prior to Kong, he led the Edge Platform team at Cloudflare. Guanlan has built and optimized high-performance infrastructures, including CDN, WAF and Cache, which are used by one of the world’s largest networks and power more than 10 trillion requests per month (nearly 10 percent of all Internet request) for more than 2.5 billion people worldwide from 118 data centers.
