KEYNOTE: Cloudability -- The Perfect Storm of DevOps, Cloud and Data
DevOps brought massive efficiency, consistency and reliability to the craft of operating technology infrastructure. Public cloud delivered a utility based "pay as you go" model to technology buying with nearly unbounded supply. The combination of the two has created a perfect storm in terms of how businesses consume technology and how that consumption needs to be managed. This talk will discuss the emerging complexity resulting from the convergence of cloud and DevOps and will highlight consumption trends over time across billions of data points from Amazon Web Services, Google Compute Platform and Microsoft Azure. Attendees will gain a better understanding of trends in cloud consumption and how to effectively integrate that consumption into their existing Agile practices while better aligning with the changing needs of the business.

CLOSING KEYNOTE: Amazon Web Services -- Building a MLP (Most Lovable Product): Why MVP Is No Longer Enough
Cloud developers all know about MVP (minimum viable product). While MVP has helped companies focus on validating the riskiest assumptions, this approach has notable downsides, the most significant one being that “alpha” or “beta” versions of products often don’t engage users, or create enough “love” to help the product grow. A much better alternative is to aim for the MLP (most lovable product). What makes a product lovable and immediately irresistible? It must solve a customer’s problem and it must be designed with the user’s experience and goals in mind. Users should be able to easily connect with the product, want the product to succeed, and provide actionable feedback to improve the overall effectiveness of the product. Come to hear the closing keynote, reminding all of us to not only think about how to build, but also keep in mind why we build.
